ECO-FAVELA: Eco-pedagogical integration with the community and cities close to the city of São Paulo, aiming to raise the consciousness about the responsibility of recreating a better and eco-sustainable world. To strenghten this program, the “Life at the farm” project was created at the farm called “Sítio dos Anjos”, in the city of Ribeirão Pires (located in the state of São Paulo), maintained by spiritan priests. The actions are conceived to awaken an eco-spirituality (within the christian/franciscan tradition, but keeping the dialogue open with other traditions), in contact with the nature around the farm, with an eco-agenda: whole food nutrition, baths in natural pools of fresh water, hiking, eco-leisure, celebrations and prayers.

FRIENDSHIP TRAIN: The socialization of the VPCC´s participants throughout field trips and visits to museums, art exhibitions and related activities, in the city of São Paulo, that are located near train and subway stations.

FAVELA WINDOW: A program created by the VPCC to support art projects within the community and value the artist as the protagonist of his or her work. The project that opened this program was the exhibition “Favela: Looking without condemning”, of the artist Marcos Pereira, from the community of Vila Prudente, in November, 2008.
LIVE CAN BE BETTER WITH MUSIC: The presentation of musical concerts at the VPCC, making artistic productions accessible to the community and establishing volunteer partnerships. Take a look at the photo gallery!
